Ian Bogost on The Colbert Report

Our friend Ian Bogost was on The Colbert Report Tuesday night, where he was “not only a great foil for Colbert’s jokes but simultaneously interesting” as my friend Brad wrote me later. Indeed, Ian was smart to turn Colbert’s questions into swift openings to make many of the arguments we games researchers often have to make to popular audiences. The more I do these kinds of interviews myself, the more practice I get finding my own ways to answer some of these same questions. So even if it’s old news to me, I benefit from hearing how my colleagues do it. Way to go, Ian! Hope the site gets way more traffic and that the book takes off. w00t!
